Google is extra busy this time around: Pixel phones aren’t just getting their latest Android security updates, and we’ve got a full-blown Pixel Feature Drop landing. This update extends the availability of the new Google Camera app to all Pixel models, including the original 2016 models, featuring significant enhancements.

But Google didn’t just confine the fun to its phones; the company took a little time to discuss upcoming features for the Pixel Watch.

Although we expect features like fall detection to arrive in the new year, Google is currently rolling out a recent firmware update for the Pixel Watch. This update primarily addresses several bugs to improve overall performance.

In another update, Google reiterated that Pixel Watch Fall Detection is coming in 2023, while the new tiles for sunrise/sunset and favorite contacts are currently rolling out. The updated Google Keep app is coming later this month.

Google has recently updated the Pixel Watch’s companion app, and now, a new firmware release for the watch is underway. The changelog doesn’t reveal significant new features; instead, it primarily focuses on bug fixes to enhance performance.
