Grab your seats and enjoy some gossips about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Life After Marriage. We can’t forget the royal wedding when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in a beautiful spring ceremony in Windsor. And on Thursday, the new Duchess of Sussex had nothing but nice words to say about her marriage and her love, whom she described as the “best husband ever”. During her walkabout in Chester with the Queen, royal fan Jo Richards asked the former Suits actress about her married life. She said: “Meghan looked simply perfect, she is actually jaw dropping gorgeous… Then I asked her was she enjoying married life and she said ‘Harry is the best husband ever’, she was so sweet.”
Markle is an accomplished actor, philanthropist, blogger, and fashion designer. And although the Crown loves determined partners for royals, wives of royals are often “encouraged” to give that up and focus on royal pursuits once they marry into the family.
Many have noted that Markle shut down her blog “The Tig” and has started using her platform to speak about charities she is passionate about — a career more in line with what she’d be motivated to do as a royal .
There’s nothing openly saying she’d have to give up on acting once they get married, but Grace Kelly notably abandoned her acting career when she became Princess of Monaco .
Fellow royal fan Sharon Briscoe, 61, asked to watch Meghan’s wedding ring before remarking on her stunning look at her Windsor wedding. Mrs Briscoe, said: “I was actually stunned by how beautiful she is in the flesh. I asked her how married life was and she said ‘wonderful’, and then I told her how gorgeous she looked at her wedding and that both her and Harry look made for each other to which she replied ‘Thank you, that means so much to us both’.”
Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly been given a new house as a wedding gift from the Queen. The Mail on Sunday reports that Harry and Meghan were invited to view Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, and after liking it so much, the couple are preparing to make it their second home. But it seems Harry and Meghan will not actually own the property, unlike Prince William and Kate, who are the proud owners of Anmer Hall, which was gifted to them by the Queen for their 2011 wedding.
As Royal Musings blog rightly points out, “Adelaide Cottage is not privately owned, but a part of the Crown Estates, which means the Sussexes would acquire a long lease, but would not actually own the home”.
When Prince Harry and Meghan weren’t individually attending gala dinners or on official royal business with Queen Elizabeth, they spent time together in East Africa for their honeymoon, according to E! News. Yes, the royal couple bypassed Canada, much to the chagrin of those who thought they’d be there, but they did spend time in more than two countries in Africa.
They reportedly kept busy by lying in the sun and going on safaris. “It was the perfect break and blend of their passions,” E!’s source said. “Restorative and the perfect holiday before starting a very busy second half of 2018.”
